Do your pets talk to you? What I mean is, do you have voices specific to them that you use when they talk to you? No? Basil is Jason and I are the only ones? :) I guess that’s just our house…
Basil has a strong dislike for our vacuum. So much in fact that I usually ask Jason to take Basil outside or into another area of the house when I vacuum. Basil does this scream-bark thing, runs back and forth so fast it looks like he is literally attached to it, and BITES it if he can:

I’ve had dachshunds all my life. As all dachshunds that came before him, Basil loves to snuggle and burrow under blankets. He is very much a lap dog. He also loves Marimekko:

Even when squeaky clean, they smell like popcorn. Chips. Basil’s nickname is Corn Chip Pup. …but back to the snuggling. the sleeping. the chillin’:
hey, I think Tom Papa is on tv! Can you make me a smoothie?
Basil has another floor pillow by the front window. He loves to lay in the sun, invite inside watch the birds, bark at people, chew his toys:

He also has a strong dislike for the camera. It’s a wonder I have the thousands of Basil photos I do.
