I need to distract myself from the fact that today we are closing our pool for the season. It is emptying now. *Goodbye summer*.

Is there anybody you just wish would fall off the planet?
ha. um, no. not really. 
How do you flush the toilet in public?
With my foot. EEW.
Do you wear your seatbelt in the car?
ABSOLUTELY. I won’t tell you stories of why you should if you do not. Unless I hear that you do not… I WILL tell you. 
Do you have a crush on someone?
Yes. (okay, okay! It’s Jason).
Name one thing you worry about running out of.
Biofreeze.
What famous person do you (or other people) think you resemble?
People have told me Sigourney Weaver. Heh.
What is your favorite pizza topping?
Tomatoes, garlic and spinach. YUM.
Do you crack your knuckles?
NO ! It sounds icky – growing up, when my sister and I were “fighting”, she’d stand at my bedroom door and crack her knuckles – because she knew it skeeved me out. 
What song do you hate the most.
“You’re Beautiful”. Yeah. You know the one.
Did just mentioning that song make it get stuck in your head?

What are your super powers?
I am very persuasive. Mua ha ha…
Peppermint or spearmint?
Peppermint. I love it in water.

I turn the television on for noise.

Vegas for my birthday last month!

I was once told my legs are Better Than Tina Turner’s. I will say my smile, even though I didn’t win the Smile Contest on Ramblin’ Rod. Everyone thought I would – maybe I got cocky in my 8 year old age?
What 3 things can always be found in your refrigerator?
Almond or coconut milk. Goat cheese. Spinach. No less than 11 hot sauces.
Would you rather be a fish or a bird?
Bird. I cannot swim and I’d hyperventilate under water. Plus, it’d be fun to fly.
Do you talk on your cell phone when you drive?
Until Oregon BANNED it, yes. That is fine, though.
What are your favorite sayings?
“Whatever You Focus On Gets Bigger”. It is so true, in so many ways.
What is your favorite Harrison Ford movie?
The Fugitive. “What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every horse station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area“… oh, wait… THAT was Tommy Lee Jones. ;)
What do you do when no one is watching?
Cook. Run. Make lists. Dance.

Peacefully. I bet some of you thought I’d want the blaze, right??

Tea. I hardly ever drink coffee.

Oh, so many. Elton John twice. Billy Joel. Beastie Boys more than I can count. Jamie Lidell. This holiday season – I cannot wait to see Leonard Cohen!

Something random about me…hmm. I am the oldest of five children. Crazy huh?
Something random about me? Sometimes I snack on dill pickles, and my husband then refuses to kiss me until I brush my teeth. Hehe! When I was a child, I liked the pickle juice too. Not so much anymore…
umm I love that your dogs name is Basil
aww… thanks. I so love basil the herb… it sounded good at the time, and he has REALLY grown into it, you know? he IS a Basil. yep, I may be biased, but he’s so dang cute.
Love this. So fun – I think you really get to know people just a bit more. I think you must be crazy or lying if you don’t talk to yourself! When I’m alone, I dance like a fool (well, given enough liquor, I’ll do that for people too LOL). Have a great evening!

Instead of having people fall off the planet, I sometimes imagine a vortex that sucks them into a new universe where they happily inhabit a parallel version of ‘earth’. So: not dead or disappeared or anything terribly negative, just way out of sight (and hopefully out of mind!)…
Something random about me: I don’t like the sound of cupboards closing in the the morning, so they stay open until I’ve woken up enough that I can *deal*.
My kitchen could be considered a hazard, but I live alone and I’m OK with the obstacles.
I like that you need background noise. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. But I totally believe it’s necessary when taking a solid nap…

Random facts…hmm, I have 5 names and it’s really long so my Driver’s License has 2 lines for my name. But I’m getting married soon so I’ll probably drop a few names when I change my name to my married name.
The Flamingo has no more sparkle than you two–lookin’ trim and glowing!! Random observation.

I always turn on the TV for noise, too! I hate a quiet apartment. Like right now. Sitting in bed, chillin with Sheldon, reading blogs, and I have House on the TV. Not that I’m watching it, I just like hearing Hugh Laurie save lives…
And a random fact about me? Umm…I graduated college when I was 20. Not associates, legit bachelors degree from the fancy private university. I’m what people call “book smart.” And for the record, I’m 22 now.

So hilarious — SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I hate hate hate that song so much!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one. I remember telling a few coworkers about how much I can’t stand that man’s voice or the words and they looked as though I said “I hate bunnies” — like it was so odd that I would feel that way. Ugh.

I love that Vegas picture! Random thing about me: the sound that skeeves me out most is hearing someone brush their teeth. It gives me chills and I have to leave the room. But I can listen to nails on chalkboards all day.
oh my!! I had an employee once that used to brush his teeth and walk around… he’d come into my office brushing… I would tell him to leave – made me want to gag!
