our trees are up, and it snowed last night! okay, the ground is barely white, but to me, it counts! 
plans for the day include lunch with my Dad, grocery shopping (we are scheduled to get more snow tonight!), baking and listening to holiday music…

Congrats on officially kicking off your holiday season. We plan to do it next weekend. Just relaxing a bit today and thinking about going out for a small Xmas shopping run.

I <3 your trees! Can't believe y'all are getting snow! It's going to be warm here for the next couple of days but then cold front just in time for Thanksgiving. I love chilly holidays – never feels as festive when it's warm. Billy is watching football, I'm going to bake something and we've scheduled a bike ride between football games. He's a devoted (obsessed) fan.

I’m so jealous that you guys got snow! It was predicted that we might get some but I have yet to see any. Tonight we may get 1-2 inches though!

I hit the pavement for a 5.5 mile run. It’s gorgeous out today – about 71 degrees and sunny (though crazy windy again). Definitely not feeling like Christmas!

Snow! That sounds so exciting. We’ll be going home to Indiana in a couple weeks, so we may get to experience serious snow.
