donuts in a flower shop

by Kristina Sloggett on March 14, 2011

in daily juice,recipes

This juice is my new favorite – I have made it three times in two days.

You know what a flower shop smells like – kinda like roses plus a lot of plants? That’s what this leaves my kitchen smelling like – fresh and green – I love it!

Jason says it has a donut flavor to it… I think the broccoli gives that? :)

Simple ingredients bring awesome complex flavor!

donuts in a flower shop juice

serves two

8-10 stalks celery
3 cups broccoli
1 apple
1 lemon, peeled

Juice in a juicer!

This one is going to be a standard for me – beautiful and vibrantly fresh!

okay, I love that there are 2 totally different smells. Donuts and flowers? Sorry Jason, but Kristina wins!

This looks awesome! The donut aspect sounds a little un-juice-like, but I’m sure it’s delicious!

It looks so pretty!

But the BROCCOLI gives it a donut flavor? That is the first time I have ever heard something like that :)

I know, me too… hard to describe, fresh and kinda funky at the same time… I’m not great at flower arranging, but if there’s something else I could do I would love to hand out in a flower shop all day…

also… hmmm… broccoli donuts. you have me thinking…

I could so make this! I have an awesome juicer. I need to write this down right now, so next time I’m at the store I’m picking up all these things. :)
