fresh juice

in daily juice,snacks

Good morning! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend, and if you celebrate Easter I hope it was a good one. Our weekend included perfect weather, a great movie and grilling, gluten free pancakes made by Jason and topped with Nutella, and a relaxing Sunday.

I had a photography lesson and worked on editing for my 365 project, which I am still taking photos for each day.

This morning, my day started with fresh and simple ingredients.

Three apples and the rest of my juicing carrots. Add a splash of acv and first breakfast is served.

Bright and cheery, and a great start to a new week – the last week in April!

Happy Monday!

What a pretty juice!

Isn’t it crazy that April is almost over already? 2011 is flying by!

Beautiful juice! I’m sure it was super yummy too :)

I’m having a juicing party later today—there will definitely be some carrots and apples involved. My pics won’t be as nice as yours though! Have a great day :)

juicing party!! that sounds fun, what where and why? is this a class you’re teaching, or just a party for juicing sake?? :)

We had a family discussion about juicers yesterday, and of course I told them all that my friend Kristina is the juicing queen. My whole family said, “Oh yeah, we know Spabettie!” :) <3

Do you turn orange from carrots? I do, if I eat enough of them. (1-2 lbs daily. At least I don’t look pale then. ;) ) They’re one of my favorite vegetables. :)

no, and especially during the winter I would not mind! ;) but I don’t always eat that much… some of my juices don’t have any, although most do. this juice had A LOT, where normally there are maybe 3-5 carrots or less even. this is pretty much the only way I like carrots… or in baked things. I cannot eat cooked carrots EVER, and can eat them raw only if they are covered in hummus! :D

I see. :D

Well, I like roasted carrots the best. Cut into thin slices, and then roasted in butter. A little salt, lots of fresh pepper, and basil basil basil! Onions and garlic are never wrong. Drool. :)
