I really did! set my alarm in case I nodded off (Basil would go to the bedroom with Jason, then come back out – he wonders what’s up if one of us is up late without the other!!) but I was back awake before it started!
hee! I set my alarm on my cell phone, good thing because I kinda nodded off while waiting… things started at 1:39 though, so there was a lot to keep me awake!
Oh my goodness, you’re so funny! I got up at 6 AM, came downstairs, opened up my laptop, and did stuff for 45 minutes before I remembered the royal wedding was on. I just missed the vows. Darn!

aw, I always cringed when I heard someone call her that… and I don’t care, I’ve seen enough of my friends have (what I now call) the “Starter Marriage” and are already divorced. yuk, and no thanks! people are too quick sometimes, nothing wrong with making sure.
wow, okay! off my soapbox! I LOVED IT TOO! I wouldn’t want that life, but I sure do love the celebration, the tradition, the history. it’s nice to see chivalry still alive and well! and I love the people watching and now want a hat. we have two weddings this summer and I want to wear hats to them!!
I agree that relationships take time to build and get stronger so getting married in the first few years is probably a bad idea…but that being said, who wants to wait 9 years?!? Holy smokes. It’s a little different for them since they met in college though.
