Olé!
All I can think of right now is how much I would like to be here:
enjoying this:
to properly celebrate Cinco de Mayo. I don’t need a whole month like we did in December, just transport me there for the weekend? A long weekend? Dropping me back to reality mid week, just in time to coordinate the movers?
No? Okay, I’ll just be enjoying one of these then:
with some of these:
and obviously, large quantities of this:
If we are going to just keep the party going, here are some other ways to do so:
For breakfast, lunch or dinner?
huevos a la Mexicana enchilada
I wish you all a fantastic weekend, whether it includes Cinco de Mayo festivities or not!
Are you celebrating?

Even though I don’t particularly enjoy stuffed peppers, that photo makes me want to print out flyers and pass them around so everyone can check out your colorful creativity
Seriously. I’m not just saying that because I’m dipping into the cervezas early or something.
Anyway, I don’t “celebrate,” but I smash my face into avocados on a daily basis, so I think that counts.
We don’t really celebrate but um, I want the tacos please
Happy Friday!
What a stunning roundup!
Have a great weekend, Kris!
sweet post – so many beautiful pictures!
I have been on a taco groove lately… so those are really lookin’ good!
Maybe I should be celebrating! Looks fun… have a fabulous weekend, Kris
Beautiful craving inspiring post as usual! I must make tacos this weekend… Cheers!
Can you come over and we’ll celebrate together? that all looks divine!!
oh man everything looks wonderful!
Absolutely! Will be making fresh guac and salsa in the morning and enjoying for dinner!
Hope you have fun, too.
I don’t think you could go any place in Mexico or anywhere that would feed you as well as you feed yourself! But now that beach … oh, yeah … and maybe very close on the drinks.
Happy Cinqo de Mayo! xo,
Shirley
I need that cocktail. Right now.
What a feast this would be for Cinco de Mayo!
You totally inspired me to throw a few jalapeno slices and a hint of juice into my Cinco de Mayo margarita! I couldn’t convince the rest of the family to try it, haha, but I really enjoyed it–Great flavor combo, added a hint of salt/pickle and spiciness without interrupting the margarita flavor. Thanks for the tasty idea! (And I hope you had a great Cinco in your NEW house!)
yeeee – I am so happy you made them and liked it! I love the hint of spicy, to offset any sweet.
Those jalapeno margaritas are calling my name.
are you answering?
Soon. Soon I will answer.
These are really beautiful photos! So colorful and festive, with all the fresh flavors! Yum!
I have not been to your blog as much as I would like lately, because I was very busy building a new “democratic”
recipe sharing platform for food bloggers, where no photo is rejected and every post appears only minutes after you click Submit. And, of course, the images link back to the authors’ blog.
It’s called RecipeNewZ (with Z) http://recipenewz.com.
I would like to invite you to check it out and join in the fun! It would be great to have some of your beautiful posts shared there!
thanks for sharing, it looks great and I’ll definitely contribute!
Those stuffed sweet peppers look fantastic! I still need to try your tamale recipe – it’s been on my list for ages!
the tamales are so fun – I hope you try them soon… and the dessert ones? oh yum!
